This session will look at patterns for consuming ReST based web-services, TCP stream based services, and Push notification from the iPhone. The intent is to discuss a set of five patterns that will aid in distributed programming on the iPhone. These patterns will include the Simple ReST-Consumer Pattern, the Authenticated ReST-Consumer pattern, XMPP Coordination Stream pattern, and Remote Invocation/Push Response(RIPR) Asynch Invocation pattern.

Jason Christensen (http//jasonc411.com) has over 15 years of industry experience providing technical direction in some of the world's largest companies. He regularly speaks at conferences regarding the use of advanced technology, and has worked as a technologist, lead architect and developer on high-profile, cutting edge projects throughout his career.
